Users preferring the on-site version can choose between the Standard and Enterprise licenses of SharePoint Server. The Standard version provides access to the main functionalities such as content management, search function, or website creation.

The Enterprise version provides access to full functionalityThese include Access Services and InfoPath Services, application integration, and business intelligence tools such as Power View, PerformancePoint Services, Excel Services and Visio Services.

To use the on-premise version of SharePoint and implement it in your company, it is however necessary to have an IT team, a Microsoft partner, or an official distributor. to install it on your server.
